My Design Philosophy

When I think about design, the first thing that comes to mind is the line "specialisation is for insects." I believe we are more than that as humans. I have never limited myself to a single design toolset, and I never want to. My goal has always been to deliver. To make something the world can really benefit from, something that has a positive impact on the lives of others. The means matter less, because design tools are always changing. Especially now, in the middle of the AI revolution, what counts is having strong design foundations. With those in place, you can adapt to any new technology and whatever tools it brings.

I also practice the philosophy of Dieter Rams in my work: "less, but better". I picked it up studying product design at university, and it has shaped my design thinking ever since.

My Career Story

I've loved drawing and technology for as long as I can remember. As a kid in India I filled sketchbooks with ideas and took apart whatever gadgets I could find, just to see how they worked. The visual and the technical never separated for me. My whole career has lived in the space between them.

I moved to the UK to study Product Design at Bournemouth University, where I learned to take an idea from a sketch to a finished, manufacturable object. From there my work kept scaling up. I started with shower systems as a design intern. Then came the UK's second-largest solar car park at a J.P. Morgan campus. After that I spent a year freelancing out of Dubai, building event experiences and campaigns for TikTok, Amazon Alexa, and IKEA's India launch.

Since 2022 I've been the in-house designer at Pacific Green Technologies in London. My job is to give shape to energy infrastructure before it exists. My CAD drawings helped secure planning approval for a 250MW battery storage site, one of the largest in Europe. My renders and animations are used by executives, investors, and planning authorities. Somewhere along the way my focus shifted from making images to making moments, such as an interactive app that I built for SIG as a Freelance Designer, which lets people explore their product range on a trade-show floor.

Today I work AI-first. I build generative pipelines with tools like Gemini, ComfyUI, and Kling, and they run in real production, not as experiments. They convert simple 3D models into photorealistic renders in minutes and animate weather states from a single base image. I also train my colleagues to use them. I believe the designers who thrive in the next decade will be the ones who treat AI as a collaborator and a craft. I'm building that craft in the open. You can see my actual prompts and node graphs in my case studies.

The Tech Behind My Work

I'm skilled in Framer, Figma, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a variety of design programs like Adobe Creative Suite. I also have a lot of experience with responsive web design, so my websites work and look great on all kinds of screens.
